Vilnius City Innovation Industrial Park: the first agreement is signed, negotiating with the Scandinavians

Vilnius City Innovation Industrial Park is starting to fill the ranks of investors

Vilnius City Innovation Industrial Park (VCIIP), established by the Vilnius City Municipal Council in April, is successfully starting its activities. In August, VCIIP signed an agreement with the operator Northtown Technology Park, which signed a state land lease agreement with the National Land Service with the possibility of long-term sublease, so from now on VCIIP is open to investors. Currently, the Northtown Technology Park is intensively negotiating with innovative Lithuanian and foreign industrial companies for establishment on the territory of 24 ha.

After signing the agreements required for the start of VMIPP development in August, we immediately received interest in establishing opportunities – a few weeks ago we signed an agreement with the first investor, negotiations with a Scandinavian subsidiary established in Lithuania are coming to an end, we are intensively negotiating with other Lithuanian and foreign companies. VCIIP is the only place in Vilnius with a developed infrastructure dedicatedexclusively for innovative industrial enterprises, which has the status of an economic project of national importance, therefore interest in this territory does not surprise us as an operator, ” says Dr. Gediminas Pauliukevičius.
