Northtown Vilnius has become a member of LithuaniaBIO

The operator of the Vilnius City Innovation Industrial Park (VCIIP) Northtown Vilnius has become a member of the association LithuaniaBIO.

LithuaniaBIO – the association of Lithuanian biotechnologists established in 2003, today uniting more than 40 companies and institutions operating in the field of life sciences and biotechnology. The association promotes biotechnology and its wider application in the Lithuanian economy in solving global challenges of environmental protection and quality of life.

According to the LithuaniaBIO team, Northtown Vilnius joining the association is a consistent and strategically important step, because several LithuaniaBIO members are already active in Vilnius City Innovation Industrial Park operated by Northtown Vilnius, so representing their interests in the city of Vilnius and realising development expectations is an important factor in promoting the growth of sector’s capabilities in Lithuania, increasing international cooperation and actively participating in the activities organised by LithuaniaBIO.

According to the CEO of Northtown Vilnius, Gediminas Pauliukevičius, the partnership with LithuaniaBIO has always been important for the operator of the Vilnius City Innovation Industrial Park.

“We have always considered the partnership between Northtown Vilnius and LithuaniaBIO to be significant. However, at this time, especially when we talk about the intensive development of the industry, the necessary conditions for the creation and growth of life sciences companies – cooperation and going in the same direction are very important. I have no doubt that it will allow the exchange of experiences and the development of significant initiatives for the sector on a larger scale, and contribute to the vitality and growth of the Lithuanian biotechnology sector altogether,” – Gediminas Pauliukevičius, CEO of Northtown Vilnius is glad to become a member of one of the strongest biotech communities in Lithuania.
