The Minister of Economy and Finance Aušrinė Armonaitė visited Vilnius City Innovation Industrial Park

 

On 27th of February, the Minister of Economy and Finance Aušrinė Armonaitė and her team visited Vilnius City Innovation Industrial Park.

During the visit, the vision and development of the Vilnius City Innovation Industrial Park, the establishment of investors and their activities at VCIIP were discussed.

“The biggest challenge and the most important task in the coming years is to strengthen the infrastructure for the growth of the life sciences industry in Vilnius, which has been lacking for several years. Therefore, this year we will start the construction of a Specialised Technology Development Center at VCIIP, which will ensure physical conditions for the faster growth of life sciences companies, and we are also very seriously considering the possibility of offering additional build-to-suit infrastructure, which is in great demand”, CEO of Northtown Vilnius, operator of VCIIP Gediminas Pauliukevičius presented the future plans.

During the meeting, the life sciences companies “Imunodiagnostika” and “Domus Naturae” presented their innovations and establishment at VCIIP, the guests visited “Poliprojektas” and observed tests in their new generation automatic fire extinguishing systems research laboratory.

Currently, 20 companies are establishing and developing their activities in the Park, most of them are operating in the fields of life sciences and engineering innovations.
