Northtown Technology Park has been appointed the operator of Vilnius City Innovation Industrial Park

Vismaliukai innovation investment zone has been granted the status of an industrial park and a new name – Vilnius City Innovation Industrial Park. The appointed operator until 2066 is Northtown Technology Park. The decision was made on January 24^th after the Government of the Republic of Lithuania established the boundaries of Vilnius City Innovation Industrial Park and on February 7^th, 2018 after the Vilnius City Municipal Council agreed and on March 14^th, 2018 after the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Lithuania approved the development plan of the new industrial park, according to which the NTP will develop the territory with the status of an economic project of state importance. According to this plan, the development of Vilnius City Innovation Industrial Park will be carried out in two stages, until 2036 fully developing the territory of 24 ha, located in Vilnius city, Antakalnis eldership, former territory of Kairėnai landfill, and by 2066 ensuring the development of the industrial park up to 38 ha.
