The subsidiary company “World Courier Lithuania” of the global pharmaceutical corporation “Amerisource Bergen” is joining the Life Sciences Digital Innovation Hub Cluster

“World Courier,” a subsidiary company of the global pharmaceutical corporation “Amerisource Bergen” with extensive experience in temperature-controlled shipments of life sciences products and clinical trials, is joining the cluster of Life Sciences Digital Innovation Hub (LS DIH).

“We are delighted to join the Life Sciences Digital Innovation Hub cluster. With over 50 years of experience working with world-class companies in clinical research and biopharmaceuticals, we want to share our expertise and participate in the life sciences activities, development, and contribute to its further successful growth in Lithuania,” said Juuso Rosenius, the director of UAB “World Courier Lithuania,” explaining the reasons for their participation and expectations.

Dr. Gediminas Pauliukevičius, the CEO of Northtown Vilnius, which coordinates the cluster’s activities, notes that the participation of companies with global experience in working with life science products in LS DIH opens up new opportunities for synergy and cooperation among the companies involved in the cluster’s activities. “I have no doubt that participation in LS DIH activities will be beneficial for both ‘World Courier Lithuania’ and other cluster members,” says G. Pauliukevičius.

The Amerisource Bergen Group employs more than 40000 employees and has 150 offices worldwide. In 2018, the company opened a fully operational office in Lithuania.

The LS DIH cluster was established in 2019 to strengthen the development opportunities, collaboration, and encourage synergy in creating new products for life sciences companies. Currently, the cluster brings together 16 partners, including Northtown Vilnius, Vilnius University Life Sciences Center, Vilnius City Municipality, Baltic Institute of Advanced Technology, well-known biotechnology companies CasZyme, Droplet Genomics, Bioanalizės sistemos, Inlita, Diagnolita, Experimentica, Sanobiotec, Institute of Infectious Diseases and Pathogenic Microbiology, Grida, Biomatter Designs, Cumulatis, and Three Thirds.
